i end up losing more than winning, i ONLY bet on the fights which i think the underdog has a good chance, and bet on him, the odds are too lopsided alot of the times, so i like calling the upsets

I think Gonzaga is going to give Couture some trouble as well. In all fairness we really don't know how good Randy is since his return, he dominated Sylvia but Sylvia is sluggest and 1 dimensional.

I thought Randy looked quick at times but also pretty sow at times and very vulnerabel at times. Randy's gameplan's are always geared towards who he's facing and I'm sure what he wants is to get the fight on the ground wiht him on top and wear down Gonzaga.

But I think with Gonzaga's size, strength and speed it is going to prove difficult for Randy to get the fight grounded withouth getting popped with a punch. I am pretty certain Gonzaga will not throw any high kicks (if he does it's a bad move IMO as Randy is going to be all over it and it is going to get Gonzaga taken down) but what will be Gonzaga's weapon is the ground, you can only block sweeping elbows, you can't dodge them so each one is goign to hurt you and wear you down. That will be the main factor IMO, if Gonzaga is able to get Couture grounded it will only take 3 minutes or so for Gonzaga to inflict a good deal of damage that will also wear Couture down, but I think Couture is goign to need at least 2 rounds of having Gonzaga grounded to wear him out because the GNP punches are not as effective as the sweeping elbows unless they are coming from Fedor.


If you are going to bet real money, dropping $50.00 on Kos maybe the way to go IMO, you make $150 profit if he wins and the matchup is good, his wrestling is more than enough to keep GSP grounded and the KEY to this fight IMO is that Kos only has to do this for 3 rounds. 5 rounds of grounding GSP is not likely to happen as 1 of those rounds Kos is probabaly going to get caught and TKOed but I like Koscheck's chances in a 3 round fight.

I feel like a pretty huge dumbass right now. None of my friends watch MMA or know antyhing about it. We are all sitting around watching it last night and I'm running my mouth about how i had $25 on Henderson and how he was gonna kick Rampage's ass, etc. Well damn he loses and everbody is like "Why'd you bet against that guy? He's huge, you're stupid". It didn't help that an hour earlier I was trying to explain to everyone how great CroCop is and how much of a beating he was going to deliver. Of course I get the same response, "That guy is huge, I knew he would win, you're stupid." So I guess the moral of the story is.... Don't bet.
