No shit...I hate to say it but it seems that allot of BJJ guys have no discipline when it comes to cutting weight.

Yea, that's something they mentioned on the show last night, I mean If Sean Sherk can make 155 with probably 7% body fat maybe less. Then Gabe and his sausage Tits and Tank gut could have made it.

I don't think you can narrow it down to just bjj guys having a hard time cutting weight. I do think wrestlers are more accustomed to cutting weight because they have been doing it their entire careers. Regardless you always get the slouch that doesn't have the dedication, mental toughness or fortitude to make the sacrifices necessary to make weight. Lack of discipline is basically what it boils down to for fat ass not making weight.
boofuckinghoo. I am glad they booted his ass off the show.

Good Point, there is no reason to blame it on the discipline, just blame it on the fat asses.

The Guy could beat Fedor tomorrow and Dana wouldn't have him back IMO.

for sure. like dana said, there is no excuse for not making weight. i have a really high metabolism, so when i wrestled in HS, my wrestling weight and walking weight were always pretty much the same--so i don't have a lot of personal experience... but i did see plenty of guys on the team who had issues cutting. but all it takes is some preperation. i don't know how that douchebag even got on the show at 170, but to know he was going to fight eventually should have been motivation enough to put down the fucking ho-hos. i have zero respect for someone who was in a position i would kill to be in. to be honest, i don't even like cory, and i was looking forward to seeing him get beat on. i was really pissed that we didn't get to see a fight this week, and i have to give props to dana or the producers or whoever to have the wherewithal to give us 2 fights next week.

Man, if I had cut; what was it, like 13 lbs. and only had 3 to go, i would've shaved my body, puked my guts out, clipped my nails, whatever it. I mean shit, he only had 3 lbs. to go. I damn sure wouldn't have quit.
