Dana's ability to scout for TUF and the UFC

what im pissed about is that there turning tuf into the real world, its becoming a little to cheesey, also the fighters that are in it are'nt as well rounded as they should be

My personal opinion of TUF is that Dana White is going with the any publicity is good publicity, what better way to get publicity than to throw in a random mixture of guys and a few big egos, a couple of pranksters and a few serious ones.

Bisping I feel came out of TUF 3 with the most class and looked to be easily the best fighter the show has produced. It also catered to the deaf community with Matt hammil who I thought was a good addition and showed they have no bias towards anyone wanting to compete that is able.

I watched TUF3 less than the original but I was glued to it by the end and I think i jumped out of my seat screaming when Bisping won (not good at like midnight when I was watching it and everyone else asleep).

Listen Joe, that is why they are there because they need to learn, hell if they were all well rounded there wouldn't be a need for the show and you can't tell me that all the fighters currently in the UFC are well rounded so shut up. Dana White is awesome at finding good fighters who make good fights.

The bottom line is that TUF is pretty much single-handedly responsible for the success of the UFC right now. So if you like the fact that you're seeing the UFC on a regular basis on cable (not to mention the future addition of HBO coverage), then you can thank that silly reality show The Ultimate Fighter.

I don't give a rat's ass how offended people are about how it makes MMA look, as long as it gets big ratings and helps keep UFC on my TV every week, it's all good with me.

R U guys kidding me. You actually take the time to expalin how childish and boring this show is on the internet. Seems as if you have plenty of time on your hands to me. Do you guys actually think Dana white produces the show? Do you really believe he sets in the studio and edits 6 weeks worth of non-stop footage of these guys, to be shown on t.v.? They calaberated with Spike on the idea. Spike desides how to put it together and what they show based on what has gotten good ratings in there many years of t.v. experience. And guess what, you guys watch it, they get the ratings, they get the money! Funny how that works, huh. They use no name, up and coming fighters so they don't have to pay them much. Do you think and established fighter is going to do this show for as little as they're getting paid? One of you compaired this show to the contender, please. Good show but it doesn't get near the ratings TUF gets. You think if ZUFFA had a problem with it they would be going on their 4 strong season. Air Biscuit got it right. This show is to attract those who know nothing about MMA. It's a buiness, it's t.v. The object is to succeed and make money. 4 seasons later, it's obvious there doing both. Stop whining. If you don't like it, don't watch it. UFC is getting bigger with every event. Dana White is a fucking genious. TUF is t.v. and UFC is PPV. When and if you ever figure out the difference, then maybe you'll have a clue as to why things are the way they are.

i personally thought this was one of the most entertaining season of tuf. WHat does the guy who made the original post expect, what do you want to see, the fighters drinking protein shakes and working out all day. sad as it is drama makes good tv, ups and downs , whatever,,,as far as dana's scouting ability, i think the ufc obviously tries to scout and promote the best talent in the united states, thats all good but it limits them. imagine a tuf brazil edition or some other country,,,that would be pretty tight,,,(don't rip me off zuffa) why do you think they are bringing in fighters from pride? the ufc is running out of rubber matches, which they seem to love,,,i guess we all do, we order them. wandy,fedor,crocop,shogun,nogera's,gomi,henderson are on there way.........
