Josh Haynes the Fat bum
Sure, he made it all the way to the finals...heart and courage cannot work all the time. You have to have talent and fighting skills. Josh Haynes will not go anywhere in the UFC unless he trains hard and loose alot of weight. He got lucky against Jesse coz' Jesse is young and unexperienced...he got pummeled in the 1st round then on the 2nd round Jesse's unexperienced got the best of him. Wait til' he faces a big light heavyweight names like Babalu Sobral, Forrest Griffin, Rashard Evans, Keith Jardins and of course Chuck Liddel. His heart and courage will not work on them...maybe with someone whose unexperienced like Jesse or Mike Nickels. Josh Haynes is a little better than that bum Kristian Rothaermel. But, I could care less about those 2 bumbling idiots.

Didn't Josh mention dropping down to middleweight? I think that the only way on the show was to fight at Light Heavy. Still, that would be a tough division for him with the likes of Franklin, and now Silva. He's gonna have to train with high caliber fighters and fight them to get to the top.

Middleweight. He started at 330 pounds and got down low enough to cut weight to make it to 205. We'll see if he can get down to 185. But I doubt we'll see him go lower as with his skills, or lack of skills, he would get eaten alive by the welterweights.

Give the guy his props. He'll never be a World Champion. I hope no one tells him that though. He's earning an honest living by working hard and having fun doing it. He made the best of an opportunity and he should milk whatever marketability he earned from making it to the finals to continue to make a living. I agree with what you said about the other guys though. They better not quit their day jobs...

Haynes may not have tons of natural talent, but I think if he drops down to 185, he can be quite competitive. He's strong and will probably be pretty quick at 185. Combine that with heart and determination, and I think he could make a great middleweight.
