yeah tito injured his leg.Didn't you see it taped up at 59?He said he had the injury b/c him and Dean were wrestling around in training on the filming of TUF3

At the finale I swore they said it was because of his training with matt hamil and the rest of the guys up at big bear.

The following is a small excerpt from an interview with Dean Lister (jiu jitsu coach on Team Ortiz on TUF 3, debuting in UFC on 5/27 against Alessio Sakara) conducted by the ADCC News web team:

ADCC: You were picked to teach jiu-jitsu by Coach Tito Ortiz. Can you explain your relationship with Ortiz?

DEAN LISTER: Me and Tito have been friends for a while. He told me he wanted the best submission guy around with the best teaching style so he chose me. He also knows he can trust me and I am a training partner so we worked out a lot while filming the show. We are basically good friends. Also his knee, it is my fault. I kept it a secret and he still wanted to fight but I had a single leg on him and he was trying to escape the take down, twisting his knee, a freak accident but real. Anyhow, just in case anyone wanted to know.

Didnt know that happened, Just got done watching the UFC all access on spike tonight about tito training up at big bear with all the guys and they didnt metion anything about it. how bad was it I guess i am going to look it up i wont get answers as fast as i want them on here , Guess i am thinking out loud now !! anyways is it going to be bad for him in the fight?

If tore his ligaments in his knee, which pretty much gives him zero mobility. Same injury (actually slightly worse) than Shamrocks in their first fight. However he's had a few months to recover & for all we know he could be 100% come fight night.

If it was as bad as he said I would doubt it's 100%, but I still give him to kick Shamrocks ass into the Happy Hills retirement home!

no blasting.I'm sorry I miss understood you.My mistake.Tito is nothing like Tank.Tank would take a fight on a days notice and fight for free while Tito ducks fights.The Haynes/Tank is a much better comparison.I can see how you could make that comparison.They're both brawlers and they both give it all they got.
