Known fact: He doesn't like to lose. He and Dana have said this on TUF countless times (call it pride). As far as his mental state you can obviously tell he really doesn't want to be there but when money calls you do what you gotta do especially when you have mouths to feed.
Right now like others have mentioned hes more focused on events taking place outside of the UFC. Maybe this is one of the reasons behind his retirement.

You can't go around bashing fighters and then be surprised at the lash back. It comes with the territory.

Rampage isn't a coach. He knows he isn't a coach. He doesn't want to be there. But signs up to be a coach, because it gets him money.
So in other words, it is okay for Rampage to screw over his entire team by taking a job he isn't fit for, because he wanted some money? It isn't even like he is trying to be a good coach at this point.
Believe me when I tell you that this whole "Rampage has mouthes to feed" line is a bunch of garbage. Rampage has a ton of money. More than enough money to get his kids through school and the whole nine yards. If he doesn't have the money, then he shouldn't be building customized monster trucks with huge rims and his face painted on the side of it.
Because Rampage is either completely well off, or irresponsible with the way he spends his money and has to do gigs like TUF because he is spending most of his money in poor fashion.
I still think that he is funny, he is a horrible coach, but he makes entertaining the show.
As a coach he sucks big time, even before the fight instead of properly psycologically preparing his fighter, he was saying him bullshit like "he has titties, would you be proud if you have titties? he has titties"

I've been a Rampage fan since his Pride days but man he went from being funny to really getting on my nerves. Its like he has no respect for MMA or the other fighters. He turned his self into a character so he could get movie roles.

I like watching him as a fighter, so I can't say I really care what he does on his own time. It's not like hes gonna have beers with me or raise my kids. He definitley wouldn't be coaching any of my kids! (Just saying, I dont have any kids that I know of)
Yea Rampage comes off as a total prick this season. Could be just how they show it on camera but man, you can't help but wonder if DW had anything to do with how much negative stuff is shown about him. Rashad on the complete polar opposite is a class act, and just makes Rampage look that much worse.

Well Fine, if he says he is in some sort of financial situation and I'm expected to believe him, then I still look at the facts and see the things that he spends his money on. Still reflects poorly on him.
Yes, he is being criticized for being a poor coach. But what makes it worse is that he took the job again. And what makes it even worse is that he seems to care even less this time and doesn't care at all what type of job he does, as long as his fighters win.
It's no coinsidence that when the UFC and Fighters don't agree the fans always turn on the fighters! wonder why?
If you are wondering why, ask yourself who has control of what the fans see and hear? THE UFC.

Remember when Gonazaga fought kevin jordan in the most pathetic fight ever witnessed..the one nothing happened the whole fight until gonzaga landed a superman punch to jordans head that ended it...Dana White said that Gonzaga will never fight in the UFC again...People jumped all over Gonzaga and totally agreed! That said, the UFC wants their poster child..Rashad to look good..and they sure have succeeded!....Now Rashad is considered One of the best 205ers and the best coach...how the fuck did that happen?..I can tell you. Dana white and Rogan said so! Rashad has done Nothing, absolutally Nothing compared to Frank Shamrock, Matt Lindland, Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson...but you all now believe he has struck fear in the eyes of of all 205ers...PLEASE!
