Tito made it sound like him and Chuck ran a gym the way he described their friendship, and I got the complete opposite idea when I read Chuck's book. So even with that I still went to the middle ground and side a little more with Chuck than Tito.

Tito has matured, just look at the way he conducted himself on The Apprentice. But he hasn't matured as a fighter. We (the forum) have dogged Liddell for not changing up his training etc. But Tito has been the same thing for the past 5 fights win or lose - "Im in the best shape of my life" prefight, then post fight, "I had a insert injury going into this fight". I want the old Tito to come back - the trash talking, pick you up and slam you, then elbow you from your closed guard till the ref stops it. But I think he might be gone.
I don't put any stock in Chuck saying they were never friends. I've seen the pictures and the backstage footage of Chuck and Tito sparring, and training and arms around each other like close friends do. Chuck and Dana were the ones who started talking shit about Tito when Dana bought the UFC. Dana couldn't be Tito's manager anymore because he became president of the UFC. Tito didn't like that and Dana tried to change the image of the old UFC that Tito was a big part of. He wanted Chuck to be the new face of the UFC and that was it. So when Tito held out for a new contract, Dana started telling everybody Tito was ducking and hiding. Why do you think Tito and Dana hate each other so much when Dana was Tito's manager for so long. Comb the net and check old footage. It's all there. I don't give 2 shits about Chuck's one sided book and dvd. It's all horseshit. I've seen both sides and Chuck's side smells like shit to me. I'm not saying Tito was perfect, and I'm not saying Tito wasn't to be blamed for some of the shit that was said, but alot of that shit was a total smear campaign.

I really liked how Rampage came over to the house the night before the fight to hang out with his team. I think that he has the possibility to be a good coach. That is if Juanito keeps him in check, so there is not that much grab ass. I have met Rampage before and he seems like a real genuine cat and I think that might carry over into his coaching style. Lets get a ground surge of write in votes for Rampage. LOL
