IMO the show has had a lot of classic moments. Another person bitched out and went home b/c of a girl, Danzig was going crazy in the house and we got to see some of his personality in depth, the shit talking and team losses led to a frustrated Hughes, and lets not forget the upper decker incident.
And though the fights weren't the most technical, they were still entertaining. Almost all of them ended by TKO or sub and the fights that didn't were pretty exciting also.
Agree to disagree.

I think it hinges on someone's interpretation of entertainment. If it was just a reality show about meatheads, that would be fine, no reason for me to watch even part of it. But it can also be seen as an ambassador of MMA to the mainstream public, and I find that unfortunate. The fact that Dana ties it so strongly into the ebb and flow of the UFC...giving one season winners an undeserved title shot, hinging a title defense on another season...makes it seem like it should be more than a reality show to me--particularly when you consider that the UFC is the identifiable face of MMA to the mainstram public. As such, the show consistently disppoints me.
2 girls 1 cup or hobo fights can be seen as entertainment by some people. And can be seen as horrible by others. It's a free country, and everyone's perspective is valid.
I'd like the show more if was about MMA and not about upper deckers.

It's easy for a lot of people who have never fought to sit back and call someone a pussy for not wanting to fight, but I promise you it's tough to dust yourself off and fight again less than a week after having what is "Your Dream" shattered on national TV. That being said, Hightower is still a tool.
3. The difference in skills this season was all too evident. A bunch of freaking thug brawlers and a few true fighters with really good technique. It looked like a toughman contest to me.

Danzig is fighting above his natural weight class, much like Serra did, so that takes some of the experience edge away. I do agree that he's leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else, but I think if he makes one mistake, he can get KO'd or slammed into a loss.
I've watched less than 2 hours of actual house footage, and steered pretty clear of the blogs, so I'm not sure why Hightower is such a terrible person, and his fighting hasn't given me reason to really don't care, one way or the other. But he did look game in his last fight. I think he'll do well with more experience.
There are a lot of successful assholes in sports.
