I think Pulver is going to turn out to be a better coach than he is a fighter. He pushes his guys to their potential and past it, and I respect him for that.
That said, I doubt there's any way that Pulver can take out Penn, unless Penn comes into the fight completely overconfident and unprepared. IF IF IF IF IF Penn trains like he should and doesn't gas, he'll kill Pulver, and may even be LW champ within a year if he doesn't try to move up again.
His strikes are slick, takedown defense is near perfect, and he's got arguably the sickest BJJ game out there. Penn by TKO.

You can bet that Jens will as prepared as ever to fight Penn. Penn has been chasing him for 5 years now. All he's heard is how lucky he got. How BJ would have destroyed him if Jens had gone to the ground with him.
I'm betting that he comes to fight.

One thing he WAS LW Champ and if he never wins again not many guys can say that. And as I said before Jens would be fighting cops at a minimart if he didnt fight in the ring hes just one of thoseguys that fight no matter what and a guy like that isnt stopping til hes dead or disabled I think we will see him fighting for a few more years.

Jens is not washed up but he just wont be a lw champ again. Im picking Penn in the rematch but i dont think he would beat Joe if they fought again or Sherk or Franca.

WTF? How can you call Jens washed up? It is a stupid statement a totally out of line, even if Penn beats him in 25 seconds which he might do, Jens can still beat 98% of the lightweights in the world. and about 99.9999% of the people in the world. That is not too shabby.

Agreed. Now i can't wait to see Pulver absolutely run through the 145 lbs. division in WEC. That organization just got a lot better very fast.

How can he run through that division with Urijah Faber there?

Can you not see Jens getting to a title shot with Faber pretty easily?
See post in Drem Match Ups for further explaination.

I'd put my money on Penn, but he certainly can't coast his way through this fight. Pulver can't be taken lightly - he's too good at the knockout. That said, it seems like BJ is pretty focused this time around. I don't think Penn wants to leave anything up to chance, or leave any doubt in anyone's mind as to who is the better fighter.
