Just an fyi. Not getting on either side of this argument. But it might help to know that mods, or even admins can't read your PMs through the default vbulletin stuff. It's not an option. There are a couple losers out there that did make hacks to do it, but I'd be highly surprised to see them installed here.

The only ways to view your PMs would be to log in tyo your account which they can't do through the board without knowing your password, which cannot be retrieved due to encryption in the software. The 0nly other ways are to install one of the hacks, or, better yet, read the Private messages table from the database itself which is a major undertaking.

I'm just saying this to let you know you can be reasonably sure nobody is looking into your account settings or PM box.

Thank you for clearing that up Sundance. Of course I knew that mods/admins could change things in anyone's usercp, but I was freakin' about the PM thing. Not about mods having access to PM's, but to the implication that you would publically post someone else's PMs. The fact that they were sent to you is a completely different thing.

Thanks a lot Smoogy for getting me all fired up 5 minutes before bedtime. Glad I'm level headed enough that I kept on reading instead of immediately blasting a hole in Sundance.
