When it turned to flaming I told both of you to stop it or I would hand out infractions. That still stands if you are harassed in a way that is flaming then we will give out infractions without a problem.

As for "it being different if it were a mod". Plenty of the mods have argued with people and not banned them. If I were accused of being UFC biased, I would defend the arguement and leave it at that.

I'm not arguing with twanky though. I will be talking with someone else, then he will come in, quote my post, and then announce that I'm just a UFC hater and my opinion should be dismissed out of hand. It has nothing to do with intelligent debate, its quite literally a personal attack. And when you do it repeatedly like that, its trolling.

So he continues to do this with impunity, and when I actually respond to him in the thread, you tell me I'm "flaming". I don't want to even have to deal with this clown, but since his harassing behavior is being overlooked, I'm being put in a position where I have to defend myself.

Its like if I decided I had a bone to pick with Clint, so everytime he posted, I would quote it then respond with "OMG GET DANAS COCK OUT OF UR MOUTH"

If he says something about you that's not true, debate him and prove him wrong.

If you feel that he's not worth arguing with, ignore him.

How is this not a level playing field, both of you are allowed the same amount of leaway on the things you can post.

Some people whine when they get called on their BS. It's not my fault if that hurts their feelings, he should just ignore me, I find it more amusing that I get a rise out of him for something so simple as my basic observation.

The funniest part is, alot of people get tired of his BS, but I'm the only one with the balls to dismiss his comments openly. I see why other people don't do it now.

i don't know exactly what's goin on here (and frankly don't really care to) but, i've been here for awhile and have seen plenty of posts by both smoog and twank.

they're both knowledgeable fans. i don't think there is anyone here except for maybe vaulherking (sp?) who has more international knowledge of mma.

i don't see where twanky would ever be able to say that smoogy is talking b.s. dude knows his shit.. you can't argue that..

seems to me, and from my experience here, anyone who questions the ufc, dana or seems to side with randy is in a small minority. i think too many posters here are too quick to swallow whatever the hype machine tells them to....

I agree. The propaganda gets nuts coming out of the UFC because they have an 80%+ market share and can dictate who is great and who sucks just by the stroke of a pen.

However, that has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
