Yeah very good movie.
A little know fact the first time director of American History X wanted to be taken off the official credits cause he thought the movie was awful he wanted it be created to Alan Smithee.

Alan Smithee are pseudonyms used from 1968 to today by Hollywood film directors who wanted to be dissociated from a film for which they no longer wanted credit. It was used when the director could prove to the satisfaction of a panel of members of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers that the film had been wrested from his or her creative control. The director was also required to keep the reason for the disavowal a secret.

It's a pretty good movie. Watch it and Romper Stomper (a superior movie by far IMO).
Also as Monsonbychoke said: skinhead does not equal Nazi.

I like American History X more than Romper Stomper. Just personal preference I guess.

No, it's an alien brain probe  You're not alone... most people seem to prefer it. Last explanation I got was that more stuff happened in AHX... can't say that I agree, although it is more dramatic.

I prefer Romper Stomper over AHX but just barely. That little nazi getting shot in Stomper was pretty shitty, and those Asians were relentless.
