Yep, Stanley Cup Champs from a couple years ago too!!
Not much of a real shot this year though, especially with Rod Brind'amour out for the season.
Vancouver is lacking in a lot of areas but not in the most important one....goaltending. They have the number 2 goalie in the world, and no matter how weak their offence is......Luongo can win games and series on his own.

As a van fan I agree. They're definitely lacking in areas. They don't have the ability to grind or play a physical game. At least it seems that way being one of the smaller teams. Their offense, just like last year, will be the least, or close to, scoring offense in the playoffs. But they do have good defense when they're healthy and they do have Luongo so there is a hope. Just a question, who do you consider the top goalie in the world? My guess would be either Brodeur or Gisguere.

Yeah I still think Brodeur is the best going today...and IMO the best ever!!
Right now, seriously I say it really more like Brodeur is 1A and Luongo is 1B.
I Know Giguere is good, he's won a cup and a Conn Smythe trophy, but I still wouldn't put him up there with Brodeur and Luongo just yet.

Though my favorite team is Boston Bruins they always start off strong then end up sucking ass.
I've become found of the Pittsburgh Penguins over the past couple years and I think this year if any is their best chance in getting into the Stanley Cup Finals.
Though I wouldn't doubt if the Dallas Stars end up there too.

My team is the Bruins and it's going to be damn close. They had a chance tonight against the Canadiens and friggin blew it. Now they have to go and win in Montreal. Good friggin luck! With the offence they have lately, it's going to be tough. I guess Peter Chiarelli's "I have faith in this team" didn't quite work out. They should have picked up some quality offence when they had the chance.

My team is the Islanders. I have no idea where they will finish, though they will most likely not make the playoffs. However, they have had a lot of injuries and play in a shithole, and have done better this year then most predicted. I think Ted Nolan is a great coach and we will be fine next year. I'm really hoping for a new arena, b/c the Coliseum is literally the biggest piece of shit arena in professional sports.
