Sucks Peterson tore a ligament in his knee. Anyone think he can still win ROTY if he misses 3 or 4 games?

Well...looking at the other candidates

QB - Trent Edwards
RB - Marshawn Lynch
OL - Joe Staley - Edit: Joe Thomas
WR - Dwayne Bowe
DL - Jarvis Green??
LB - Patrick Willis/David Harris
CB - Leon Hall/Aaron Ross

It will be between AP, Patrick Willis

Patrick Willis (88 total tackles, league leader), and David Harris (66 total tackles)

I would think that the biggest threat is David Harris. If he can he lead the league in tackles after only starting 9 games (if he keeps up this pace he will)...that's a feat!! But, I can't see him realistically continuing to put up 20 tackles a game.

Edit: I'm talking about most impressive Rookie performance (understanding there's separte ROTY for Offense and Defense)

Patrick Willis will get serious consideration but I disagree with u about David Harris...Leon Hall has a bunch of INT's and is about the only decent player on Cincy's D. Also, how could you not pick Marshawn Lynch? He's been one of the most productive backs in the league from week to week and is a major factor in Buffalo's resurgence.

I'm as big of a Lynch fan as you're gonna get. I just think that even if he does catch up to AP in yardage (big if), it is because he played more games. Marshawn will have to do something really special to eclipse what AP has done thus far....
