Great deal on Punching Bag Combo at Sam's Club!!!!
Just wanted to let my Fellow posters in on a deal that i thought was really good, (tell me if it's not). I just bought this Everlast Bag Combo at Sam's Club, and thought it was an unbelievable deal. I Paid $198.99 I couldn't find it on the INTERNET but the stand alone on there web site is $100 and it doesn't come with the double sided bag. You have to excuse the pics i took them really quick before i came to work today but i think you can get the idea. The only thing i don't like about the set up is that the Heavy bag hangs to low, i am planning on fixing this with some minor chain modification, but other than that i would recommend this set up for anyone from the professional to the person that wanted it just for Cardio.
Let me know what you think, did i get a good deal or did i get Skrewed?

Great deal, but you should move the heavy bag elsewhere - there's nowhere near enough room for it on the stand, plus it needs hanging a lot higher.

Personally I don't like those bag/stands because the bag is too deep into the stand. If you look you'll see the legs of the stand are out towards the bag and it doesn't really leave much room. You can only go straight at the bag and can't go side to side as well. If you're using it to let stress out by banging it it'll do you well, but won't have movement around the bag. Maybe I feel this way because I'm tall and stand further back.

No I am not tall and I feel the same way about the everlast stands the bigges't problem I have with them are the two bars used for support they get in the way of your kicks. I do them Muay Thai style and it makes it hard for you to work around the bag....Ala foot work. Cool if you want to go head on but you can't learn slips and how to undercut with them.

The Heavy bag is lbs,
as i mentioned before, the only thing that the set up need is some modification to the chain for the Heavy bag, it is way to low (I'm 5'10)
Yea, all that stuff is not in the way anymore, I have a daughter that is 5 and 3 dogs, all of which like to drag things out and not put them back, the Garage is plenty of room for the set up when everything is actually picked up off of the floor. I am planing on getting a Muay Thai bag also, I will leave one of the bags on the stand and hang one of them, which should i leave on the stand? the Heavy bag or the Muay Thai bag?
