Default Is EliteXC really that dumb?

Apparently EliteXC is dubbing the Shamrock vs Shamrock fight in '09 "Blood Brothers".

Aren't Ken and Frank adopted brothers? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought they were.

WTF is up with EliteXC?!?!?

Mods: feel free to merge with the other Shamrock/Shamrock post if needed, just thought this was funny.

Yeah I noticed that as well. I guess Elite XC doesn't pay attention to the fine points.

Are they really adopted brothers??

They sure do look a lot alike for being adopted..

Regardless, going to be interesting. Been wanting to see this one since I was a kid. Frank should be able to work him without too much trouble

Originally Blood Brothers was a thing people called each other after a traditional Indian ceremony where both people would cut their palms and then hold them together in a handshake type position and tie their hands together. Thus sharing each others blood with the better understanding of disease this practice has faded away over the years. Thus that is what they use to call Blood Brothers. So the name of the fight is just fine.

Maybe so, but what relevence does this have? Did the Shamrocks actually do this? Because as far as I know there's no blood relation whatsoever.

Not trying to be a prick, I just love how EliteXC seems to overlook issues most fans find basic knowledge. Have we heard if there may be other brothers on the card? Can't think of any personally but I'm not as familiar with some of the indy scene guys they may be bringing up.

Frank came up with the Blood Brothers title way before EliteXC ever sniffed this fight

Not to be a dick but it seems like you are just nitpicking and looking for a reason to whine. Maybe they did do the ceremony when they were young who knows you keep equating it to being born of the same parents where everyone knows its is not. So lets just put it away and be okay with the fact that it is named that and it could be becasue they took that bond that many have taken.
