its true, Ken talked about it in his lionsden book. The two nasty boys nailed him in the head with a blunt object. Ken had gotten into it with them when they picked on his friend and his wife. Try reading the book you will realize Ken has an excuse for every time he lost.

The known story:

Shamrock was just getting his start with the WWF, the Nasty Boys were on their way out. Shamrock was at a bar, sitting with a friend and said friends wife, a drunken/coked up Knobbs of the Nasty Boys cops a feel on her. Shamrock says he let it slide, he was new in the company,and didn't wanna say anything to piss off any vets. Knobbs does again, then again. Shamrock asks him to stop, Saggs and Knobbs get pissed, push Shammy, Shammy flips out and security takes him out of the club. Shamrock is then able to get their room number.

Later on in the night some of the other boys tip off Saggs and Knobbs that Shamrock has heat with them, and would more then likely show up at their hotel, so they wait. Knobbs on the bed, and Saggs behind the door with assorted weapons. 2am Shammy kicks down the door, goes right for Knobbs on the bed, hits him a few times before getting knocked down by Saggs and his random plunder. Saggs and Knobbs then "put the boots to him"

Shammy met up with Saggs years later at an airport, got in his face in front of the entire WWF roster,challenged him, and Saggs being the chicken shit that he is backed down.
