Default Randy Couture as a top ten HW
Can he be a top 10 heavyweight IF he beats Brock Lesner? I think it depends on how he beats Lesner but even then I think he needs to fight a true top 10 heavyweight. He'll be a UFC top ten but not world.

No offense, but can anyone break into the top 10 of a weight class by defeating someone NOT in the top 10?

He already is a top ten HW... not just in the UFC... but in the MMA world. Given, he has dropped in the rankings due to a nice year break, but he is still top ten... and if he beats Brock, his position really won't change much.


Why would you think Couture needs to break into the top ten?

Lol, yeah Randy is only out of the top 10 because of inactivity. If he beats Lesnar he reagains top 4 or 5 Imo. Even if he loses against Lesnar he'd still be top 10 prolly.
