Default Lesnar could get title shot with one or two more wins.

MMA Fiend: Cockchest could get title shot soon

A title match between Lesnar and Nog (yes, I am just going to assume that Mir gets smashed) would be the biggest money fight the UFC has put on at HW since Randy vs The Big Poop.

It's kind of sad that this is a reality. I like Brock, but he is NOT ready for a title fight.

I would love to see him go fight in Affliction and have a deep pool of guys to work his way up.

The only problem with that is that Fedor is on top haha.

Yeah if he smashes Kongo hes gonna get a shot regardless of whos the Champ. Even if Mir wins I wouldnt be suprised to see them give Lesnar a rematch

It's seems smart from a business perspective however even with a year more of full-time training Lesnar will still get subbed by Nog. Lesnar needs to beat Mir, Werdum or Gonzaga before he deserves a title shot.

buisness is business, he will be a handfull for nog or whome ever he fights, he might just suprise some people, remember this is still a fight and anything can happen. but you need to understand how thin this division is and that Brock, no matter how green is a huge draw. The UFC has already made back their investment on Brock so its not about loosing their money on this, and its not so much a lack of options, rather Brock is a very hot topic right now, Nog is still amazing and SHOULD handle Brock with ease, but we will have to see

This is all based off of speculation by Sam Caplan... there is no real source to this..

I agree even with the huge strides he has taken since his Mir fight. He still has not beaten anyone I would consider to be able to put him anywhere near the title picture. I also think that if he manages to get past Kongo then he should fight Gonzaga next. That would I think be his biggest test to date. He would truly have to worry about someone that can come from any direction. But Lesar wouldnt be totally dead in the water, Gonzaga had major problems with Couture's wrestling. Wrestlers that know what there doing can nulify the BJJ pretty good.

It might be speculation but it is a definate possibility with how slim that division is, which is sad.

How is this any different than Kimbo being rapidly moved up the rankings because of his marketability?
