Offical?: Rogers vs. Kimbo in October?

Have been here for a a year or so but decided to finally post cuz I found this really intresting. I looked around and didnt think that this had been posted or anything. Sorry if it was. But Im pretty sure it wasnt.

There is a local promotion here in Minnesota that runs shows all over and they call themselves Brutaal. They used to call themselves EFX. Well its where Brett Rogers got his start in MMA and he still fights with Team Bison out of the Twin Cities. Well they load there fights onto the internet for people to watch. Well I was watching there recent show from June 13th and I found this intresting. They did an interview with Brett and he says that its offical that he and Kimbo are fighting on the October EliteXC show. Comes right out of his mouth. Says he is knocking out Kimbo in the first round.

that would be a great fight, this fight should have happened sooner. imo at elitexc he is the best fight for kimbo. he is a big opponent like James Thompson and also has very good standup. could make for a great standup war and i wouldn't be surprised if he ko'ed kimbo.

Me too, and rogers is the guy to do it, especially in that organization. Kimbo must fall, and rogers has really good standup to strike with kimbo. Not many fights that are really possible besides this one and maybe somebody like bean, monson, etc. that i would like to see. I dont want kimbo to fight some guy like Bo Cantrell.

Yeah I also think that this should have happend before now. Kimbo to me is a chump. He is gonna get eatin alive by the first REAL opponent that he faces. Give him somebody that is worth a damn and he is done. Im biased towards Rogers though as he is a Minnesota boy and I have seen him fight before the EliteXC deal and all that. And he is a really cool guy in person. And to me Kimbo seems like a pompus prick.

Yeah i think Rogers would have a pretty easy time with Kimbo.Then again who knows Kimbo could come out and prove everyone wrong.

Well fuck man why dont we just give him Fedor??? Its his 4th mma fight...why does everyone hate this guy? He trains hard, respects the sport and actually is a pretty well spoken dude. I just dont get all the hate...
