I dont understand why the UFC isnt making a new weight division for a weight class that finally has an emerging star (Faber). The UFC could really sell Faber and make more money

That's what the WEC is for.

Exactly, the one thing I would like them to do is send some of the higher weight classes over to UFC. Would love to see Condit and Filho in the mix over there.
Then again Filho probably wouldn't fight Anderson.

I know I'm in the minority but I could care less about the smaller divisions underneath the lightweights. Featherweights and bantamweights just don't interest me. I don't know why, I know they're fast, talented and slug it out, but it doesn't interest me.

I just prefer the heavier weight classes.

I've seen them fight and it's not that I don't enjoy it, I just could care less about those divisions as a whole. The talent pools watered down and not as deep as the heavier classes. Plus it looks kind of like watching midgets fight.

Well, guys like Miguel Torres and Faber are being wasted in the WEC, IMO. The UFC could really benefit from adding guys like that to the roster. It might make up for the shitty HW crop they have right now.

The UFC should be the place for the best in the world in all weight classes, the WEC should just be a farm system for that. Younger fighters could start and develop there, as well as guys from TUF who show potential.

I guess I just don't understand why the UFC is keeping Faber and Torres in the dark with suck limited exposure when they are both in my personal top 10 P4P.
