It was still a PRIDE event. Even a shitty diluted PRIDE event is better than a bullshit unification match...particularly when you consider that Henderson was told that his belt wasn't on the line initially. That didn't change until after the fight had been announced and promoted...and KOing Wandi in a ring does far more to earn a belt than going to a controversial decision in a cage.

I don't even think that Rampage won that fight. That fight was a lot closer than Rampage/Forrest. And while I disagree with all the idiots who are saying shit like "You have to
take the belt from the champion, it can't be close" the same bullshit theory would apply, right?
Any way you slice it, it's like plundering a corpse for Rampage to get a PRIDE belt.
