I think now that Anderson is moving up we will see Henderson and Franklin for the belt thoughts?

No we won't, because even though Silva is moving up to fight Irvin, he's still supposed to defend his belt this year. Most likely against Okami.

The articles I've read specifically state he isn't vacating the MW belt. This is a "test" fight for him at 205 to see how it goes.

No, cuz Anderson Silva is black and he is still Middle Weight Champ of the UFC.
The Champ is here!

What does Anderson being black have to do with anything. Or is that the first post of someone soon to be banned?
If Silva moving up to 205 means he is vacating the title, the only logical choice would be Franklin-Okami II for the title. Sign Henderson to fight Bisping, Leben, or Quarry and if he wins, he gets a nother crack at a title shot. You can't ignore Okami and you can't ignore that Henderson has lost 2 in a row even if it was to top flight competition.
I don't think the UFC will keep Anderson as MW champ unless it's under the understanding that he fights more often. With these long layovers for the champ, I can't see him switching back and forth from 205 to 185 tying up that belt. I think he makes a push for the 205 title and makes some serious money. Their aren't any money matches at 185 for him. 205 there are lots.

Yeah Anderson is coming back down. No need for anyone to get excited for a vacant title. As long as he defends it when the UFC asks him to, he can move around and fight at other weights. Atleast that's my understanding. And that's BJ Penn's understanding because he wants to be the first to hold two titles at once in the UFC.

He's not losing the belt. He's fighting Irvin, then win or lose he's fighting the winner of Cote/Almeida for the strap.

Well i think most people are in agreement that ASilva will KO irvin so why would he then drop down to mw again this just doesn't make sense .how would he go up the lhw Rankings if he bounces back and forth between weight classes

slow down. he's not vacating anything. he's gonna decimate irvin and when he does, he'll go back down to defend. everyone wants it to be against okami, but for some reason cote/almeida keeps popping up. i know they resigned okami, so there should be no problem making it happen. Silva even wants to shut him up and okami is technically the last person to beat anderson.
