I pretty much agree that if she can't make the weight she needs to fight at a higher weight. She could do a little extra cardio leading up to her fights and she wouldn't have the problems IMO. If she knows it's harder for her to make weight, she should leave the cookies and Little Debbie cakes alone when she's not training.

Again I disagree when at Fairtex many of the girls had problems making wait. I think it is because she is in the public eye is why people are getting on her case for something that happens more than people think. They get Bloated and many can't predict when it will happen and there is nothing you can really do about it.

I can't speak for everyone else but I am getting on her case bc she has failed to make weight 4 out of her 6 fights. I mean seriously 4 out of 6 fucking times she has not made weight. That imo is completely unacceptable.

Uber is completely correct I know 2 girls who fight mma and 5 or 6 that do kickboxing and all of them have failed to make weight at least 2 times each . They can't control the hormones and bloating in there body. I have seen one girl gain up to 25 lbs of excess weight that she can't get rid of. It just happens and they do not have to be on their period. This happens alot it is in a womans body chemistry.

Amid all of the chatter of who is hot, who looks like a man, bloating and not making weight anybody care to discuss this possible match up? I know the women's side isn't near as deep as the guys but this is probably the most intriguing match out there.

From what I remember of Tara Larosa, she has a Judo background with a good ground game. I seem to remember her finding quite a few armlocks in her Bodog days.

As far as fighting Gina, I think she'd have a tough time. Again, this is going from memory, but I do believe Larosa fights at 135 and with Gina regularly weighing in over 140 (upto 144) I think the size advantage would be too much. Gina always seems much larger and stronger than her opponents and able to bully them. I think this would be more of the same. Also, the 3 minute round that EliteXC has for their women, I feel, favors the striker and doesn't offer the extra time that Larosa would need to set up a submission. Any thoughts?
