I asked Jeff a long time ago wtf was up with the "Imagine" song and he said it had a good philosophical and political message, he had a lot of respect for John Lennon as an artist, and mainly because it relaxed/calmed him as he headed out to the ring so he could focus/concentrate better.
My answer was "Yeah...but it really doesn't fire up the fans much." His reply was "That's me and my opponent's job."
I guess it sorta makes sense...in a Monson kinda way...lol
BTW...I personally think it blows, and there are certainly better fitting political/philosophical songs that would represent Jeff more accurately by far, even by John Lennon.
But who's gonna tell him he can't use it anymore?
Not me....lol.
