It's the same situation as Jeff Monson using "Imagine" by John lennon. Anyone who knows Monson's personal beliefs knows that that song fits him really well. Although I will say it's a very interesting choice to come out to the cage with for a fight lol.

i agree. the guy lives and works on a farm. how more country does it get than that? and if u country haters would listen to the lyrics it makes lots of sense, unlike any new bullshit rap song. "im hot cuz im fly, u aint cuz u not". thats sucks so bad! i wish new rappers would have there english at least half way correct.

haha I live in Texas myself and mostly listen to country... mainly just Texas Country. I also like an occasional rap or rock song as well though. I just think that DMX song is a good build up to a fight.

Coming from a huge Tito fan, I hate Tito's entrance music. I don't like much rap in general anymore, and that old corny Eminem song that Tito comes to the ring in annoys me. But we don't like our favorite fighters for their music right.

Also Matt Hughes has a great song, I don't like country much but I like that outlaw country like Hank, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash. And Hughes is a man of God. How can he be a terrible human being?

I think Matt Hughes' entrances are badass, he knows he is pissing people off with it.


Most MMA fighters make pretty good choices, I never thought I'd hear Henderson coming out to Rage Against the Machine and Red Rider, or Gonzaga coming out to some Danzig..... I think it's badass. UFC entrances used to be such garbage but they are much improved, PRIDE's are still the best though.




I'd say the worst entrance was Dongbar coming out to "When Doves Cry". It's a good song, but I don't know what he was thinking.
