Dont believe the hype - Michael Bisping
If Bisping was competing for Mr. Fitness 2008 then I say watch out. So he lost some weight and now "looks" like a middleweight.
Bisping is nothing but a patsy for the UFC. He's their meal ticket for the UK.
He fights wankers.....The only 2 legitmate fighters he fought he LOST. (Evans and Hamill) And yes, I know the scorecard on the Hamill fight.
I hope the UFC decides to finally give him a fight, I pray its one of the following: Silva, Okami, Franklin, Henderson and even Leben would be tough for him.
If he fights one of those cats, he'll be sipping tea and crumpets through a straw.

I agree he's overrated,and I think he'd be tooled by Maia,Leben,Cote,Okami,Hendo,Silva,and Franklin,among others.

I'd like to see him fight Leben...he's definately not ready for Franklin and the UFC wouldn't feed him to Silva yet.

wow give the guy a chance maybe?
I'll agree I'm not a Bisping fan but I don't think he's all that over-rated after being put into perspective by an injured Matt Hamill. But give the guy a chance to show what he can do at middleweight...
Physically he looked great and his striking was overwhelming for McCarthy. He also showed very good ground defense, I'm not saying that McCarthy is world class BJJ but still he's not a novice either.

i disagree. yes, i was just as upset as everyone else about the hamill result, but i think bisping is a great fighter who deserves to be where he's at right now. i was very impressed with his performance at ufc 83 and like i said before, i think he could take franklin to a decision. if they fight and franklin wins, i will be more than happy to admit i was wrong, it wouldnt be the first, but i think bisping could out strike franklin...call me crazy.

Bisping looked great against Charles.
I'd like to see him fight some better comp before I made a decision either way.

He may as well have been pounding on the heavybag though...I'm sure he'd look good doing that as well. I want to see Bisbing/Leben before Bisbing/Franklin.

Franklin would rip the tea and crumpets right out of Bisping's mouth and destroy him. Bisping's stand up isnt where Franklins is
