Default Female Refs

So I was thinking to myself..yes The ring girls are great and all I suppose..but wouldn't it be great to see a female Ref in the octagon?

I mean I personally would accept the task!!!!

Whats everyone's take on this? Think we will ever see a Miss John McCarthey in there??!!!

Why not? If Herb Dean can be a ref, anyone can...

lol I'm trying to figure out if this is a joke or a real thought/question you are asking???

Anyways, not to be sexist or anything but having a female ref would make things really off color to me. Plus a female having to jump in between 2 guys to stop a fight, if need be, does not sound like the best idea.

I voted no, but only for male MMA matches. If shit gets out of hand, you need someone in there who can restore order QUICK.

Not to say that a good many women couldn't kick the shit out of most men on the planet...I dunno, its a dicey issue.

Female refs for female MMA, though, I'm all for that...no reason not to be.

I think a big issue would be having to pull a guy off his opponent if hes going overboard or whatever, so i say no.

Women's MMA = Yes.

Men's MMA = No

There is always exceptions to the rule.

I think a woman with the body structure of China could, but those are few and far between.

It's just a safety factor.

I just don't see a 120lb woman pulling apart two 250lb men.

Maybe in the 135 lb division...mmmmmaaaayyyyyybe. But I still doubt it. Miguel Torres and Chase Beebe are friggin' beasts.
