And i mean why can everyone else make stupid threads like "whats your favorite fighter" "who do you think is over rated" " i'm looking for a bjj school to train at" those are stupid threads yet still posted... ALL i'm saying is.. if you think anything i have to say or write or whatever is pointless... then why dont you click on another thread? and read it? It was just a topic to discuss the thing about this forum is there are so many meat heads that sit in their room and watching ufc dvd's and think they can be a fighter.. like.. i dont see why someone has to be put down because they posted something to talk about? its a forum... this is what forums are.. to talk about whatever... with whoever.. who are you to say whats pointless and what not?

Yeah, well stupid threads get moved to this section just like yours did. I wouldn't have checked out your thread if you had made a title that actually indicated what your thread was about, which apparently isn't about anything.

This isn't just a forum to post random topics. This is a forum concerning MMAnews and obviously your post is far from any sort of news. There is a science to the madness and that is why there are dozens upon dozens of sub-forums. So I'm sorry if your self-serving thread doesn't constitute as mmanews and was moved to a section where sub-par threads belong (no offense to the newbs).

And I don't see what dellusional posters who think they can fight MMA have to so with you creating pointless threads.

I wasn't putting you down, I just telling what my impression of your intentions were and judging by how you reacted and the fact that you are taking it personal I now feel justified in my original opion of you and your thread.

Forums are not chat rooms. We are not hurting for actual mmanews content to discuse so your argument of talking about "Whatever to who ever" isn't really valid.

As far as who am I to say what's pointless or not: I am just another poster with an opinion, but if you are just "thinking out loud" and don't care to actually contribute to anything meaningful or constructive regarding mmanews and not just opinions about redundent mma crackpot theories that have been mentioned a hundred times already then I believe I will post my opinion on it.

Exactly. There are always going to be bullshit decisions. Part of it is retarded refs like Harlem said.

And I think part of it is the refs are scoring the action live at ringside. They aren't getting the multi-angle camera shots of the action like TV viewers. They only see the action from one vantage point, and its a big ass octagon.

And if I'm not mistaken, the three judges are spaced around the Octagon. So in some cases, I can see how the fights would look different to each judge.

I wouldn't mind seeing the UFC try out an open scoring system at an event to see how it would go over with the fighters and fans.

If they did take bribes, then I wish someone would payoff Goldie to sit out.

I would think that each states Athletic Commission watch MMA much closer than they do any other sport due to the "controversial" nature of the sport.

I once wondered if some fights were at least given a direction or rigged to some degree but seeing Matt Serra defeat GSP pretty much removed any thought of that from my mind.

No offense to Serra, but you can see my point.
