No, Noons couldn't do it again, unless Diaz continues to believe his own hype after the Gomi win.

Yes I believe he can do it again.
Nick has never had good take downs, and generally relies on fighting from the bottom. A better game plan would be to ignore the TD completely and focus on striking defense. Watching the fight, Nick is clearly over confident in his ability to take a punch and looking to counter, as he did with the Lawler KO. The cuts prevented that opportunity. He's got an excellent chin, and Noons doesn't have power to speak of. Cuts aside, KJ never hurt Nick. Gomi didn't hurt Nick, and he opened him up far worse than Noons is capable of. Noons looked game, but I didn't see anything close to "amazing" hands.

And no, Dork, that wasn't his A game. "wear himself out trying" to end it? He's a award winning decathalete. He went 5 hard rounds with Gomi. c'mon, think before you type. Nick might not win any Nobel Prizes, but he's typically a pretty smart fighter, adapting and changing mid fight, if he's on form.

No, he didn't. Not even close to a "manhandling." Diego edged out a close decision at best.

Bullshit. The only person who thought that was a close fight was Nick Diaz........and you. He never took Diego down, he was dominated from the top, landed VERY few shots, every sub attempt was thwarted. Diego took him down easily and controlled him easily. Where do you get that it was a close fight. Decision, yes. Close, no.
