Alright....somewhere around here there is a video of Matt Hughes vs. Tito Ortiz in (I believe) Abu Dhabi. Tito pretty much wasted Matt. That doesn't mean Tito is a better wrestler, but size makes a huge difference in the fight game. Add in the fact that Barnett is a much more skilled grappler than Tito, and this is a horrible match for Hughes. Barnett would win standing or on the ground any time he wanted, by any method he wanted.

Yeah it would be bad. Barnett was weighing 242 a few fights ago but maybe back up to 250lbs now, he would probably come into a fight with Hughes at around 242lbs so to shed the 8lbs for quickness.

Barnett has a much better standup game, is stronger than Hughes and has a phenomenal ground game, simply one of the best in MMA. Hughes would look very bad in this fight and get completely decimated via whatever Barnett wanted to do.

Hughes vs Filho would be more interesting but even then, Filho is a beast that weighs like 210lbs+ (like Rich Franklin) and has a much better ground game than Hughes. That fight though would be more competitive than Barnett vs Hughes (though likely neither would be competitive), just too much size in either matchup.

Barnett by Sub, 1st round, easily. Very bad match up.

And I'm wondering how you have a better Rep than me I've been posting here for a while and I came up with more reasonable dream matches than this. I almost find this trolling.
