i was also thinking about the same match. it should be a #1 contenders match to face chuck liddle after he faces sorbel and silva. but i think that vera would win, he deserves a title shot.

vera isn't fighting at light heavyweight and he probably won't be fighting there until he gets and holds a belt at hw or gets his ass handed to him pretty bad the next time he steps up a level in competition.

i would love to see it. as little respect i hold for Vera, i would love to see Tito get murdered by a guy who's actually his size. vera has good standup, and if Vera could tap Assuerio, he sure as hell wouldn't lose to Tito.

He has said in the past that his goal is to be the first to hold both the HW and LHW belts simaltaneously.

This would definitely be a great fight! Dunno if Vera could beat Tito just yet. maybe he could inch out a decision. But I'd still go with Tito!!!

W e all love Tito, but come on... You guys have seen his last two fights... gay! He is no where near being ready for someone like Vera. If he fights Vera he gets either KO'd or TKO'd to Strikes. Although I think Liddell and Vera would be good, Vera would lose that one. He's gonna bite off more than he can chew there.
