It was claimed that guillard greased his body or someshit...thats why the fight was ruled a no contest.

Default huerta would decimate melvin

may have been overturned because Melvin can't keep the candy out of his nose!I think he's still suspended for failing his last drug test!

it was overturned because Guillard was more oiled up than Stallone was in Rocky

Guillard is trash and must cheat to beat talented fighters

yeah it was the vaseline I just got this email from Lee Coates at FFC.

Quote:
The bout was ruled a no contest after it was discovered that Melvin Guilliards corner smeared vaseline on his body during the rest period between rounds one and two. It is clearly visable on the DVD of FFC 14.

Melvin got saved by the bell in his match with Gabe (and I don't mean Gonzaga). Cake boy had him until Melvin got saved by the bell and well he just presented his neck on a silver platter to Joe Stevenson. He's raw with power but you need a lot more than a punch to make it in the biz.

Melvin won a great fight but you could tell he was greased in the pre-fight staredown. Huerta just slid off of him on a lot of his shots. I want to see this rematch. I see Guillard winning the first round because he is more explosive and could keep him at bay for a minute. Huerta would eventually get him down and beat on him. I dont know, this would just be a great fight

Yeah, I agree. I kind of see Huerta winning via ground and pound.
