okami vs anderson silva
man after seeing ufc 69 im preety sure okami could do exactly what he did to swick to silva. it did look like okami got rocked kinda easily, and if he has a weak chin hes gonna have problems with silva.
thoughts?

i think he does have a weak chin, and swick isn't as accurate as A. Silva. and Silva is much better on the ground then Swick. He would get submitted or KTFO.

okami got skill, ive said it all along that hed beat swick. BUT he wont be anderson, his standup is to crisp and accurate and he has a better sub game. Granted i think okami could take him down I just doubt he could do anything to him there

im going silva to, watch their first fight silva dominates until the dq. Plus he cant stand and take shots from silva like he did with swick. That said, okami is tough and if silvas wrestling is as bad as some are making it to be (he had knee surgery b4 the last fight so we cant be sure) okami will have a decent chance.

Okami has skill, but Swick is no Anderson Silva. Okami can pull off a Decision but i dont see it happening.
Silva via TKO

With seeing Swick rock him, i dont think this fight would be getting out of the first round. Anderson by ko from knees. Anderson is a man beast. Okami wouldnt beat Franklin either, he wouldnt be able to take Rich down, and would end up sleeping by the 3rd, i know it wasnt about rich but i thought i would through that out there lol.

First off i love swick. call me a victim of the ufc's tabloid like coverage of the reality stars but he's been through alot to get here. this is what he's wanted forever and i've seen more then a few people in the ufc tap out or get stopped from less then what he took on the ground while in the full mount. (it's along time ago but see "big daddy's tap out against don frye for the sickest display....and i'm canadian.). now as far as okami's chance against silva???silva is the best striker in mma. he loves to strike. he's showen some composer on his back but i think that getting him on the ground is the only way to beat him. before his lose tonight (and all can say is wow, and congrates to serra he's a classy fighter.) i thought his best match up in mma, entertainment wise would be gsp.(though i'd love to see another cro cop vs fedor) this was honestly the first time i've seen okami fight but from what i saw he loves to put on show and is more concerned with how messed up his opponebt looks after the fight then getting a quick submisson win. he had swicks back more then once and swick left his throat exposed for the rear naked more then once. if this is the style he fights with all the time anderson should take him out.(side note if anderson's frame was capable of taking on 27ish more pounds i'd love to see him fight chuck. power vs the perfect throw.what a match)

very good points guys
man was i the only one yelling LEG KICKS! during the okami fight??? I mean swick had the perfect chance to set up some combos with leg kicks. I know it would have made him vulnerable to takedowns but he got takedown anyways so he might have taken some chances as well...
also, okami did show a weak chin, but he was able to recover so props to him for that

He wouldnt be able to recover with Anderson. Anderson would have connected alot more and okami would have been screwed.

I thought Anderson was winning there first fight until that kick. Anderson takes this one standing up or on the ground IMO.
