kickboxers vs boxers
lets make this a serious tread i know many people would pick kickboxing and i would agree but lets imagine when k1 and other boxers emerge in to one solid company who would likely become a all standup included even boxing do you think theyd do good?

Kickboxing overall....but it depends on who the boxers and kickboxers are, and there would also be crosstraining.....i would say the best strikers at this point are Boxers, but out of the average crop of cans, kickboxers would emerge victorious.

kickboxers win....
ill take hoost, hunt, mcdonald, and cro cop over any pro boxer any day..
the kicks will do the trick alone...its like having another weapon...

All a boxer has to do is learn how to block those kicks....IMO it's easier than blacking a punh because it takes longer for a kick to get from the ground to the opponent's head.

yeah but there movement will, other then hunt who has an iron chin all those guys are pros at movement and avioding shots...and dont get me wrong im not saying the boxing greats wont stand a chance but its hard to imagine any boxer stoping cro cops kicks or mcdonalds kicks or shit hoosts kicks...
i think its to much of a disadvantage...there legs will be chopped to pieces while the kickboxers still have good enough hands to move away block some punches set up a few jabs and destroy the legs...

a boxer can block a kick to the head, but shin kicks would kill a boxer, but I dont think the average kickboxer has the chin to step in there and beat a guy like lets say Mike Tyson
Bob Sapp is pretty much a boxer.. look what hes done to guys like Ernesto Hoost

there movement isnt all that great, they dont slip punches like a boxer does
Butterbean has stepped into K-1, and has a win in K-1.. and 3 loses but there all to good kickboxers and hes old, so is Ray Mercer who went to a decision with a good kickboxer and got knocked out by Remy Bonjasky but hes old.. and Remy Bonjasky is great
Gary Goodridge took a round vs Hunt with boxing alone
and none of these guys are a Mike Tyson, I dont think any kickboxer other then Mark Hunt has the chin to take a punch from him
plus, too many wrestlers go into K-1 and have minimal sucess.. IE: Fujita.
