Default Fedor vs. GSP

IMO The 2 of the best champs rite now and since this this is for 'dream' fights, in a 'dream' world where fedor and GSP were in the same weight class who would win?

GSP had too much trouble with BJ penn. Fedor is just too good at everything for GSP to handle.

This is not even a dream fight. This is a dum ass thread. Gsp is way!!!!!!!!!! to small for Fedor. WTF are you thinking??? How can you imagine GSP could win? How long have you been watching fight sports?

The guy did say if they were in the same weight class which I assume means if there was no size difference. So in that instance I still say Fedor. Maybe GSP in a few years if he can stay on top. But for right now it is
Fedor > Everyone else.

Fedor, although if they were both the same weight, in a few years GSP would have a chance.

Fedor is great, but 170's is a bit thicker then HW if you include both orgs. I'm going with GSP.

UFC has the only 170lb division in MMA, I don't think their WW division is even depper than Prides HW division. Prides HW division is IMO the best MMA division in the world bar none.

Pride HW
Fedor
Cro Cop (does not matter if Cro Cop id going to the UFC, Fedor owned him)
Barnett
Big Nog
Werdum
Hunt
Aleks
Kharitonov
Fujita

Total - 9

UFC WW
St. Pierre
Hughes
Penn
Diego
Karo
Fitch
Koscheck
Riggs

Total - 8 which also includes unproven fighters like Koscheck and Fitch and Fujita is still a better addition to the HW depth than Riggs is to the WW depth.

Fedor is simply the best fighter the sport has ever seen, if he and St. Pierre were at the same weight, St Pierre would just get owned, look at how much trouble he had with Penn, Fedor would beat St. Pierre in the standup as well but would be able to keep a ridiculous pace for a 25 minute 5 round fight.

Fedor runs 10 miles per day and does so at a 7,000 atitide, he is just a machine and as long as he is healthy, I really don't see anyone beating him.

I think BJ Penn is actually more skilled than GSP. I'd think his sheer skill is about the closest to Fedor's of any MMA fighter. His only problems are conditioning and stats. If all fights only lasted one round, Penn would probably be undefeated. When both guys are fresh, he just dominates.
