I think the point is that saying Monson doesnt stand a chance on the ground shows a lack of knowledge. Monson is a brown belt in bjj and he won the Abu Dhabi Submission Grappling World Tournament HW Division in 2005 and also won his division in 1999.

What your ignorant of, is that moving down in weight doesn't diminish your strength. In fact the reason people move down in weight is so they can be stronger in the lighter division. Monson in LHW would be a monster.

Yeah ,but when you cut that much weight you'll lose some muscle mass ,not to mention some conditioning.
