Bas Rutten vs. Wanderlei Silva
If Bas (in his prime) were to fight Wanderlei Silva, who would win?

This would be a great fight to watch...I've always talked about this one.
Bas in his prime physical condition but with the knowledge he has right now against Silva.

I think Bas would take advantage if Wand started throwing wild punches and I'd give him the nod. That and Bas has never been KO'd.
Could easily go either way though.

I will take Rutten. As someone stated above, his wealth of knowledge is superior to that of Silva's.

My money would be on the Axe Murderer, he is Chute Boxe and we all know they can fight

Wand would win. IMO he has much better subs and his stand up is better. Wand is more relentless. Ken Shamrock beat Bas twice, I'm sorry but I don't see a prime Ken ever beating a prime Wand. Wand is a fucking beast, just can't see it happening

To be fair those two losses were in Pancrase where the rules were totally different from todays and really, I don't know why they count towards fighters records.

Wandy, his stand up would spank Bas.
