Forrest Griffin vs. Matt Hamill

This one is just a personal favorite i'd like to see, i know it's not an ideal history maker, i just think these two would pound it out hard, i can gaurantee it'd be a grudge match, these are truely 2 warriors, and i hope we see this match soon....

The only person with sloppier stand up than Forrest Griffin is Matt Hamill.This would be a good ,but sloppy fight that Hamill would win by UD.It's an interesting match up though.

they're both such different fighters, i think hamill would mostly try to take it to the ground and forrest would attempt to defend and stand up sluggin'. it's too hard to make a call, but personally i'd pull for forrest.

Forrest by TKO or dec. hammill could win a reaaallllyyy boring decision, but i doubt it.

Forrest may be sloppy, but he at least understands how to throw a punch with power, and how to slip shots, and is spending his contract paying big bucks for great camps, much like Diego has been doing.
Hammill has been training with a good, but primarily one-dimensional trainer. Tito can't teach standup or BJJ, just the basics so he can effectively use wrestling and LnP/GnP
against Petruzelli, he just stood stock still, chin out and hands down, and then ran blindly into the clinch, and used immense retard strength to throw Seth like a little doll. Hammills not even explosive on the takedowns. other then being ridiculously strong, i really dont see how he was considered such a great wrestler without any kind of explosive power.

Forrest will win just because Matt Has a Lazy standing guard he drops his hands too mush in antispation of the shoot and Forrest will Rock him because of it.

Griffin by TKO.

Hamill throws very slow punches and looks for the takedown so much

that he often leaves himself open to get caught with something.

We all know Hamill is a good wrestler and is very new to mma.

He may greatly improve his striking in the coming year/years. If so his

chance of beating Forrest would greatly improve.

forrest would rock hamill. I don't think matt would get him down But if he did. forrest went though tito's punishment for a whole round. The only way matt would win is by Dr. stoppage

Matt has so much potential but he needs to leave team punishment no disrespect towards tito and his team but Matt cif someone taught him some good ground work and striking he would be a great fighter. BUT... he will not leave punishment because he has formed a bond with tito and if he leaves punishment he migfht have to fight him one day.
