Yes I agree with that statement. kerr looked great back then becasue he was, the pain killers took away his gas tank. Kerr had the arguably the best takedowns in MMA and submitting Barnett is quite a feat.

Kerr in his prime and with old skool rules (head butts) I would give Kerr a decent chance but the lack of standup would really hurt him.

If he could not finish fedor in the first 3 minutes, he would be done for as the takedowns would be too slow at that point to have any effect and Fedor would blast him with the looping right and drop him, then jump on him with a barrage of punches and it would end in TKO ref stoppage.
