Diedo Sanchez vz Matt Hughes

Is diego ready? I think he is after totally DESTROYING Karo... I personally would love to see this fight, and wouldn't be surprised at all if Diego beat Matt. Both are cardio freaks both can G&P and are very evenly matched, besides the experience edge for Matt. What do you think?

if he is successful vs. riggs in dec. (which i believe he will be)....he will most likely face the loser of the gsp/hughes fight before he gets the title shot. only time will tell.

Destroyed Karo? What fight were you watching? It's highly debateable that Karo won that fight (even though I think Diego won anyway.).

I think were underestimating Riggs a bit here though. I think he'll come into this fight a raging bull, unleashing all his fury on Diego. We'll see the best Joe Riggs we've even seen in December.

i don't think that it should be arguable that karo won that. it was very close....until the 3rd round. he was destroyed in the 3rd round. as far as the best riggs in december....imo, i still don't think that'll be enough. (not to take anything away from the guy, i do think he's good.) but look for some improved diego stand up. he'll be ready for the raging bull.

as of right now, i dont really think deigo stands a chance against matt, bj, or gsp, and he will have his hands full when he fights joe

well, until he beat karo....he didn't stand a chance against him either. i think he is a very good fighter, and will continue to suprise people. he does have his hands full agianst joe....riggs will be very hungry coming into this fight. but diego is very good on the ground, and he has been working on his stand up the whole last year.

diego will probably beat riggs in dec. but will probably get crushed by hughes, gsp and bj
