Okay, so this week the deepest division in MMA just got even deeper. Anderson Silva moves up in weight, and Brandon Vera will have to start cutting weight. Similar fighters in that I'd say they both prefer to stand up, have knock out ability in many forms, and some may argue their ground game is their weakness.

What do ya think?

im going to say anderson...but vera could deff win due to size...i pick someone like shogun to beaty vera because shogun has a sick as ground game and intense gnp with top controll...wich imo silva doesnt have a great gnp game...but silva could ko vera standing and might verywell be able to subb him..

i dont know, there 2 great fighters. veras got killer knees just like anderson. has good kicks. on the other hand, anderson is our version of fedor so far. i want to see this happen. is vera staying at LHW from now on ? is anderson doing the same unless its a MW title defense.

would be a good fight, Vera is the better wrestler and a little bigger, with really good stand up.

but i doubt he does anything to silva if he gets him down, i'd take silva by tko, rd 2 or 3
