I really wish this fight could have happened on the 19th of July. Both of these guys need a redemption fight and it would be an awesome fight IMO. There styles are very similar. Who do you think wins and why?

this thread was around before tim and vera fought and i still say wat i said then...brandon vera has shown me nothing to say he can beat shogun....there styles are alike and shogun is alot better at it...shogun would probably take vera down and shogun has a mean top game, he would punish vera int he transitions...also shogun has better knees, kicks and punches and is quicker...

In all honesty, I need to see more of Vera's ground game before I can say he has a decent chance against Shogun.

i take shogun here. vera hasn't looked good lately but shogun did look flat vs griffin......gotta side with shogun and his mad skilz.
