Matt Serra vs. Sean Sherk
Who do you guys think would take this fight? I think this would be an interesting matchup that could go either way. I'd be pulling for Serra though.

Sherk would destroy serra, way too fast and strong for serra to handle. 1st round knock out.

If GSP couldn't finish Serra in the first with his speed and strength advantages then I don't see how Sherk would... Not to mention that I have only seen Sherk win a fight in the first round once.

a fights a fight, anything can happen, sherks a different fighter, with a way better record than GSP even though gsp beat sherk before, doesnt mean sherk cant knock serra out in the first.

No, its the fact that Sean Sherk doesnt have great finishing ability that means he wont Knock Serra out in the first.

So Sherk can knock Serra out in the first becuase he has a padded record and anything can happen?

Matt Serra stood toe to toe with BJ Penn for 3 rounds and was never really badly hurt and the fight honestly could've gone either way and now someone thinks that Sean Sherk is going to come in and knock Serra out in the first round?  Sean Sherk has never been known for his KO power. I think he has underrated standup and good combos, but his punches don't have a lot of explosiveness on them. Sherk isn't going to be knocking a lot of guys out, especially not someone as skilled as Matt Serra.
