why are you mentioning records? If you're going to mention a record.. why don't you mention Sherk's record in the UFC... 6-3. Records don't mean much if it gets padded. If we're just comparing records then Hughes should've destroyed GSP but that wasn't the case was it?
Who said that Serra has no chance against GSP or Hughes. He hasn't faced Hughes yet and he ko'ed GSP already. Also, GSP would've beat Sean Sherk then and now and you do realize that Sean Sherk didnt take that much time off right? He retired for only a brief period. He decided to retire in early 2005 and came back to train just 5-6 months later. Then he took a fight outside of the UFC roughly 2 months before facing GSP. So does the time off have to do with anything... no... he was already in fight shape... so same result!
Do you honestly just go on sherdog fight finder and find out how many wins, tko's and subs a fighter has and compare them accordingly? With your reasoning... Huerta and Reinhardt should be the top two lw's in the world right now... both boasting 20-1 records. You should also consider a term called "quality opponents".

I see Sherk winning by decision.
I think he's too strong for Serra and Serra won't submit him.
Best chance for Serra is a KO.

Oh goody, a BJJ guy who never finishes against a wrestler who never finishes. Please tell me it's not a title fight.

Kinda bold statement, cute how comparing records in your other post. Fighter A has a better record than Fighter B so he should win. Thats the ignorant shit people say about MMA, guys say that at bars who know nothing about the sport.
I think Randy Couture is the best example of records don't mean a fucking thing.
I do agree with you on one thing, Sherk wins it, but not by knockout. Which isn't the same as TKO just letting you know chief. But by a boring ass decision with him taking down Serra 30 times and dry humping his leg.

Serra wins. He beats GSP down hard, and he hung with BJ Penn for 3 rounds and it was a close fight.

Probably but Serra does have better BJJ then Franca, possibly more power, better striking, more size and strength too.. and still Franca nearly TKO'd Sherk possibly more then once in there fight.. so this is a fight id like to see cuz who knows?
