Wandy all day every day.
GSP hasn't faced a great striker like Wandy before.
WW division is lacking a good strikers, which is why he looks like a "great" standup guy, when we all know he isn't "great" in the standup.
Wand would kill him in the clinch and on the ground JJ wise.

I agree 100%. Considering Wandi is two full weightclasses above him...it would not be a pretty day for Georges, even Mandy Moore wouldn't want to look at him after Wandi got finished.
GSP hasn't faced someone his size who is a a great striker, and is still learning striking defense. With his stiff head movement and average footwork, Wandi would tee off and make short, unhappy work of him.
Even if it did go to the ground, Wandi brings outstanding BJJ with a strength and size that Georges hasn't seen before.
Wandi wins 19 out of 20.

This is why they make weight classes because this fight would be a huge disadvantage for gsp to begin with, no chance he wins

when i ran the poll, i guess i should have put a weight class in there, of course GSP would get destroyed by wand if they fought open weight, thats like pitting bj penn agains randy couture, but lets say if the met in WW or lhw.

I don't see where GSP would have any weapon with which to beat Wandy...
He might bring Wandy down but he's not going to submit him, he's not going to pound him out...
Wandy clearly has the striking and power advantage, he definitely can take a shot...
/shrug...
I'm not sure GSP is cut out to fight Light heavies... I'm not sure any Welterweight is...
I voted for KO by Wandy but I think it'd be more TKO... I can't imagine what GSP would do in this fight...

wandy would win this fight,he has size over gsp, experience,gsp is a great fighter but i dont see him being able to do much with a guy like wand
