Yeah but Diaz will and I think Anthony has enough ability to wrestle Diaz off of him..
We don't know what kind of chin Anthony has though, and Diaz has got some accurate, if not-so-heavy, strikes.
A victory over Tommy isn't all that much to go, suffice to say AJ has DY-NO-MITE in his hands. If Noons can plant Diaz I certainly think AJ can level him...

I think Diaz can take it.
I mean the guy outboxed Robbie Lawler.
I think Diaz can sub him and probably out box Johnson as well.

yeah...lets remember who A.J. has looked impressive against...
...fighters with very little talent in the stand-up department.

AJ beats the shit out of Nick.
Aj comes from a wrestling back ground, and that means he can stop Nick from taking him down. Plus Nick has sissy take downs.
Aj is the better striker with much more power.
I understand people like certain fighters but this over hyping of Diaz is getting really goofy.
His stand up is average at best. People seem to forget he gets out struck alot and put on his ass even more.
AJ is fast on his feet, and has showed good striking with good power. He will take it to Diaz and either punish him for 3 rounds or get a stoppage.

Anthony is a good boxer, tons of power, good wrestling and strength.. Diaz cant wrestle to save his life.. lacks power in his hands.. doesnt guard his face.. is not a better boxer then AJ by any means.. the fight will look a lot like the KJ noons fight only worse..

What do we truly know of Anthony Johnson though besides the fact that he made a very green fighter (Tommy Speer) look like shit. Johnson was subbed just late last year by Rich Clementi. I could see Nick Diaz doing the same.
Anthony does look promising though, he looks to have good stand up, quick and a lot of power. I will give him that but I cant just bank on him after seeing his last fight against a guy that did not even win TUF.

Agreed with all of the above.
*And for the record, AJ took that Clementi fight on short notice. Not an excuse, but it's only fair for that to be mentioned.
I'm positive people are going to call this a bandwaggon around AJ, because people are cynical losers like that. Which would be ironic because Nick Diaz has BUILT his career around a lame bandwaggon of his own.
This isn't so much my picking AJ because he's so great and amazing as it is Diaz being average on a good day.
