Are you guys serious? AJ has had one impressive knock out against a guy that has no stand up. Soku, Alexander,???
I put Johnson in the same catorgory.
Great power. but not much else.
Daiz would beat Johnson in a boxing match IMO>

Aj took the Rich fight on very short notice. Like a week or 2 weeks notice.
Can't remember the fight really well, but wasn't Aj beating on Rich until that sub

Dude Nick Diaz would get killed in a boxing match vs AJ.. Knockout aside.. AJ's boxing skills are very good.. hes not just a power puncher.. hes a puncher with power.. and has the right technique.. Nick Diaz just throws jabs and rights.. AJ has a lot more then that.. and knows a lot more about boxing then Nick Diaz does.. and shows it in his fights.

Yea, if there's one thing people shouldn't cite as a point for Diaz it's his boxing. His stand up defense is atrocious, and AJ's power alone would eat him alive.

How come Nick Diaz does very well in the stand up in almost every one of his fights.
He fucking KO'd Robbie Lawler.
AJ TKO'd Speers..

If you ask me, Speers has a tougher chin then Robbie Lawler lol.. Nick Diaz always shows soft hands in all of his fights I think that kinda shows that it was more of the fact that Robbie has a god awful chin then Nick Diaz has power.. cuz before and after that fight Nick Diaz only proved that he can throw chip shots.
But just look at his boxing.. he throws the same two punches, his stance is incredibly wide open, he doesnt protect the face..
AJ on the other hand, throws tons better combos, has a much better stance, power, keeps opponents at the end of his punches, and I just think if I wasnt gonna dwell too much into it.. the fact that he throws combos with a better stance alone would make him better.. Nick Diaz is very one dimensional with his strikes.. AJ in a few fights has already shown more dimensions.

I think Nick Diaz wins the fight.
Reason: Diaz has shown a great chin and would hopefully absorb a decent shot or two. I think he can sub or out point AJ. Had I even seen Diaz KO'd I'de give this fight to Johnson.
Diaz's Power: I'm a big Diaz fan but I gotta point out that although he KO'd Lawler, he dropped bomb after bomb (unanswered) on Gomi & Inoue and couldn't even drop them. In the Gomi fight especially, Diaz hit him on the button with several straight haymakers and Gomi still stood.

And that Gomi fight was at a catch weight that gave Diaz the advantage - People always forget that. If AJ didn't knock Diaz out, he'd be smart enough to keep the fight standing and just pick Nick apart for fifteen minutes.
