Lol you dont see Kimbo being able to rock Mike Tyson? thats not that big of a deal lol.. Tyson in his prime never had a great chin.. and now.. his chin is shot.. thanks to Lennox Lewis especially. You think Kevin McBride and Danny Williams are any great? Buster Douglas?

That would just be a sad, embarrassing day for the world of boxing if a legend like Tyson, who has 44 wins via KO out of his 50 wins, was KO'd by a street fighter, turned new MMA fighter.

I didn't follow Tyson's career post Holyfield so I can't attest to any fight occurring after that...
But Ruddock was known for his power and Tyson was able to eat some heavy shots from Razor. I thought the two fights he had with Ruddock were examples of him having both heart and chin...
But that's back when fighting meant something to Tyson...

Tyson has some street fighter in him too. He may not have submissions, but I'm not so sure that if Kimbo tried to take him down that Tyson couldn't end up on top and pound the hell out of him. He shot right in on Lewis in when they were promoting the fight and went right to biting his leg.

Guys since when did Kimbo show at anytime he can take people down? Who says his wrestling or takedowns are any good? For all we know he could have shit for takedowns and subs. Even if he does have decent takedowns I think in 4 months of training Tyson could learn enough Takedown Defense to keep this fight standing for all of the 2 minutes he would need to put Kimbo to sleep.
Kimbo has beaten nobodies, I knowTyson is over the hill but its almost an insult to think that a guy with a 2-0 MMA record (against Cartell and Abbott) could beat one of the best boxers in the 1990s, none the less KO him.

Did u actually read my post? im talking now.. he has no chin now.. and the bombs he took from Lewis? dude.. Lewis layed him the fuck out.. the shots he took from Douglas? Douglas KO'd him! what are you talking about.. im not even gonna further argue about a fighter whos lost 5 times by KO/TKO..a great chin is James Toney, and Hagler.. not Mike Tyson.

Wasnt this same shit said about Ray Mercer? who I guarantee you is in better shape then Mike Tyson who should be fighting his way out of jail right now instead of worrying about MMA..

Nope, cause I would never ever put Tyson and Mercer in the same sentence when it comes to boxing. Mercer was good, don't get me wrong but he was never near the level of Tyson. If those two fought today, as bad as Tyson has been I think Tyson would still beat him.
I think Kimbo gets way too much credit for what he really his. He is just a newcomer to the sport that use to fight in street fights, much like Mike Nickels. Now we aren't going all crazy about Mike Nickels are we? I am pretty sure Nickels could have beaten the two guys Kimbo did with just as much ease. I actually think Thompson is going to put Kimbo away in the first. Its going to be his first taste of fighting a guy that is actually somewhat legit. Thompson isnt any good, but I think he will prove niether is Kimbo.
