Joe Stevenson vs Nate Diaz

Was thinking about this match up the other day... anyone think that Nate is ready to take on Joe, or is Joe's GnP and submission defense enough to rattle the young gun's head around?

Joe has a good shot at beating Nate if it goes to decision. But i doubt he'll submit either Diaz.

I think in his fight against BJ Penn, Joe Daddy showed he can survive. How many fighters can say they were able to take Penn from mount back to guard. If it wasn't for the blood I do not think Penn would have submitted Joe Daddy. I think Penn still would have won, but it would have been by TKO or something like that. Pellergrino was killing Diaz and that fight was really close to being stopped in the first. Joe Daddy has a similar style and is a much better GnPed then Pellergrino, so I think Joe would stop Diaz in the 2nd via GnP.

Even though he lost to Penn, Joe is still probably the 3rd best LW in the UFC, right ahead of Florian and right behind Penn and Sherk.

good fight. as tough as joe is, i'd have to give the edge to mr submission diaz. he took a beating last month and still was able to pull out the win. go hatin joe here, he did take a beating from penn...just think diaz would pull this dreammatch off.
